Hotels in Coventry

The great thing about hotels is that they make excellent party venues and conference venues as well as offering comfortable and convenient accommodation. Event planners around the West Midlands area often choose Coventry for its great selection of city hotels and country hotels where there’s plenty of function suites and meeting rooms for holding weddings, Christmas parties, and conferences. If you’re looking for event venues that offer a touch of luxury and grandeur, the Macdonald Ansty Hall in Coventry is an excellent choice. This impressive hotel might look stately on the outside, but inside you’ll find plenty of state-of-the-art meeting space and a variety of function rooms that can be hired for both business and pleasure. For example, the Orangery Suite boasts its own bar and kitchen and has a capacity of 150 for weddings, banquets, and conferences, while the smaller Drawing Room is very well-suited to intimate dinners and smaller meetings. We also have a number of Coventry airport hotels that are perfect for private and corporate events where you’ll have guests flying in from around the UK or further afield.

Once again, the event’s core values of make every delegate feel valued, inspired and brilliantly looked after, while connecting them with the very best suppliers and venues the UK events industry has to offer, will be on show. From the moment guests start their trip, CHS Birmingham is putting care and convenience centre stage. Travel partner Avanti West Coast will ensure train travelling delegates arrive in style, while Sandbox VR sets the tone at an immersive Welcome Reception the evening before the show, a chance to meet, mingle and kick things off in style. Inside the ICC Birmingham, buyers will find a carefully curated floorplan designed to make their time count. A handpicked line-up of exhibitors will showcase venues, products and services to elevate their events, while two content stages, the Main Stage and the Exchange Stage, will offer fresh insight, lively discussion and practical takeaways from industry leaders. The theme of ‘You & AI – Hype, Hope or Headache’, will set the tone for both the on stage content, and the talk in the aisles as CHS once again provides talking points beyond the business of events. CHS Birmingham knows that buyers do their best work when they’re looked after. Throughout the day, frequent tea and coffee stations and a hosted lunch on us will keep energy high. A stylish Lounge Area, powered by Lime Venue Portfolio, will be serving up sustainable food concepts and there remains plenty of space to relax between meetings. Wellbeing remains woven into the experience, with thoughtful accessibility measures and a dedicated wellbeing room for anyone who needs a moment away from the show floor. “It’s the CHS way to make sure that we spoil our guests, make them feel warm, welcome and productive,” said Michelle Rennoldson, Event Director, CHS Birmingham. “It’s going to be a great show, and we’re going to make sure everyone feels a part of it.”

CHS Birmingham Promises the Warmest Wellbeing Welcome for 2025

CHS Birmingham is practicing what it preaches this year with a series of initiatives that put delegate welfare first. The show returns to ICC Birmingham, 28th October 2025, and, following a number of powerful sessions at the group’s CHS Leeds show earlier this year, the team has embedding clever safety and inclusion measures into every stage of the visitor journey. “We attend all our educational sessions at the show. We’re like everyone else, we want to learn, improve, and implement new ideas into our visitor experience, and welfare is critical to who we are as an event,” commented Michelle Rennoldson, Event Director, CHS Birmingham. “This year we’ve really looked at every aspect of our show and tried to put in places ideas that just make it a nicer, more welcoming and safer place to be.” Drawing directly on delegate and speaker insights, CHS has implemented a series of initiatives designed to make the experience safer, more inclusive and less stressful: Dedicated CHS contact number, on all event materials and signage Meet & greet desk, for solo arrivals at the Welcome Reception Staff-supported arrival, for delegates who request it “Bring Your Industry Bestie” initiative, to ease solo travel anxiety Comprehensive pre-event communication, including clear safety and transport guidance Flexible networking formats, to suit different comfort levels Wellbeing room, for anyone needing time out from the show floor Each of the measures are underpinned by a simple principle: behind every badge is an individual with unique needs and expectations. “Our industry thrives when people feel comfortable, valued and safe,” added Michelle. “We’re proud to lead by example in Birmingham, showing how thoughtful design and clear communication can create an environment where everyone can focus on connection and content.” CHS Birmingham will continue to offer fresh ideas with world-class venues and suppliers, speaking to leading event planners and agency brands, in an environment designed with delegate experience front of mind.
