The East Riding of Yorkshire is the only one of the three Ridings still in existence, and within its modern boundaries, it contains the waterfront city of Hull, Beverley, and Kingston upon Hull. The county contains plenty of picturesque coastal resorts, as well as the low chalk hills, which are known as the Yorkshire Wolds. The motorway networks leads straight into the region via the M1, A1, M62, M18, and M180, and mainline train services run to Hull, whilst Humberside, Leeds/Bradford, and Doncaster airports are all close at hand. The county is full of both large and small hotels, heritage venues, sports clubs, and dedicated conferencing centres, that provide a range of useful and affordable conference venues, meeting rooms, party venues, and function rooms. For example, the Village Hotel Hull is perfect for both business and pleasure. It’s ideally situated just off the motorway and can cater for 200 delegates and 160 diners.
