Situated adjacent to the church is our brand-new community hub, which officially opened on the 7th September by the Bishop of Carlisle, The Right Reverend Rob Saner-Haigh.
The community hub is the culmination of 5 years of hard work by members of the congregation and a dedicated steering group along with generous donations from charitable funds and individuals.
The aim has always been to create a community hub which will be a welcoming space that reaches out to everyone. Now that aim is about to become a reality as the community hub opens on 7th September 2025.
The new building offers a contemporary and engaging space to hire for meetings, social functions and events. The state-of-the-art building has been designed to utilise the very latest materials and eco-friendly building technology, ensuring it is both energy-efficient and finished to the highest possible specification.
Benefitting the whole community
Crosscrake Community Hub is managed by the Crosscrake Church Trustees and all proceeds go directly to the upkeep and ongoing provision of St Thomas’ Church Crosscrake and the Community Hub, benefitting everyone in the local community.
As a charity, alongside any proceeds made from the community hub and church hire, we rely on donations to keep both buildings well maintained and in tip-top condition for the benefit of everybody. Every penny raised is put back into this effort. If you would like to donate to this valuable community project, please visit our website.
