Recently fully renovated, the cottage has an open plan layout on the ground floor featuring a fully integrated kitchen, open staircase and walk around the fireplace. Upstairs the main bedroom looks out over the green and provides views of incredible sunrises. The main bathroom continues the contemporary cottage theme and features dark grey tongue and groove panelling, a walk-in shower and separate panelled bath. Finally there is an unused second bedroom which could be utilised as a green room, office or production space. Outside there is an open paved/gravelled courtyard space.
The Village is located approximately 2 hours outside of London driving or 45 minutes via train from Kings Cross to Peterborough. The Village boasts several picturesque country lanes/walks, a fishing lake, village church and several other period properties. The house is in a super quiet location with unlimited parking on/around the green and benefits from beautiful natural light. As an FYI the house has also been filmed for Homes Under The Hammer and the film ‘Atonement’ was also filmed in and around the village. About 30 minutes drive away is Burghley House too which features heavily in The Crown and Pride & Prejudice.
