AI Fuels Surge in Demand for High-Capacity, High-Connectivity Venues

A sharp rise in the use of AI-powered tools at business events is prompting organisers to reassess what they need from a venue, and digital capacity is rising up the list according to Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. From high-speed connectivity and data handling to practically latency-free environments for hybrid broadcasting, venues with serious digital infrastructure are seeing an increase in enquiries and bookings. Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, already a staple for international sporting fixtures and global audiences, is now seeing growing interest from business event organisers precisely for this reason. “The questions we’re being asked are changing,” commented Nils Braude, Managing Director, Twickenham Experience Ltd at the Allianz Stadium. “The ambition of organisers is growing and, for us, it’s not just about our facilities, it’s also about how much digital capacity venues can deliver. Event planners want to know that their AI platforms will run at full power, in real time, without interruption.” AI tools are increasingly used across the business events landscape from attendee matchmaking and live transcription to smart captioning and real-time language translation. These capabilities demand a level of digital infrastructure many traditional venues aren’t set up to support. Allianz Stadium’s however, by its nature, can offer this capacity in abundance. As a live broadcast hub for international rugby and a host to major esports and gaming events, the stadium is built for high data volumes, seamless connectivity, and large-scale hybrid production. Recent upgrades across the stadium, including improvements to its dedicated events spaces like the Beaumont Room in the North Stand, are designed with flexibility, scale, and connectivity in mind.
