The City Suite is situated on the Upper Ground floor and is perfect for meetings, training sessions and workshops. It offers natural daylight and air conditioning and has full disabled access along with its own private entrance.

The City Suite can accommodate up to 400 delegates in a Theatre style set up and is ideal for meetings, seminars, workshops, training, dinner dances and awards/sporting events.

The Presidential Suite is situated on the lower ground floor and is perfect for meetings, small training sessions and workshops. It offers natural daylight and air conditioning and has full disabled access.

The Presidential Suite can accommodate up to 80 delegates in a classroom set up and is ideal for small boardroom meetings, training, syndicate room, private dinners, small ceremonies.

The Club Room is situated on the upper ground floor and is perfect for meetings, small training sessions and workshops. It offers natural daylight and air conditioning and has full disabled access.

The Club room can accommodate up to 70 delegates in a classroom set up and is ideal for small boardroom meetings, training, syndicate room, private dinners, small ceremonies.

Situated on the ground floor of our Lord Nelson Stand enter into the suite with ceiling to floor windows that give to views across our track and out to sea! With 368m2 of space this room can accommodate meetings, training sessions, networking events, gala dinners & private parties for up to 180 people! Looking for something more intimate? The room can be divided in half to create a cozier and close atmosphere for your guests.

This space is located on the first floor and has its own bar, which you can have staffed for your event.
Please note there is no disabled access to this room.
This room can hold up to 38 guests seated or 50 standing.

This space is located on the basement level in one of the old Bank Vaults and has its own bar, which you can have staffed for your event.

Modern Life Cafe Restaurant

• Our restaurant is open 9am-5pm Tuesday – Friday and 10am-5pm Saturday – Sunday.
• Our menu includes morning pastries, daily-changing soup, toasted sourdough, salad bowls, hot main course lunches and outstanding patisserie, all made in-house. Children can pick up a Picnic Box filled with a sandwich of their choice alongside a snack, fruit and a carton of juice.
• There is socially distanced indoor seating available.

First and Second Avenues are small meeting room located on the Upper ground floor. They offer natural daylight and air conditioning and have full disabled access. Both tooms are suitable for up to 6 people in a boardroom layout.

The Statesman is situated on the upper ground floor and is perfect for meetings, small training sessions and workshops. It offers natural daylight and air conditioning and has full disabled access. The statesman can accommodate up to 12 delegates in a boardroom set up.

Head down stairs to our Beyond Bar, the largest of our event spaces. 600 standing, and 100 seated, there is plenty of room for a variety of briefs. Full soundsystem and dancefloor space, this room is perfect for private parties, award ceremonies, corporate functions and so much more. Large bar serving a variety of drink options and optional food add ons available - all within your budget!

Beautiful bar sites adjacent to Beyond and is perfect for smaller hires, holding 150 standing, and 20 in seated boots, podium tables available for casual drinks too! Our elegant and versatile Pembroke function rooms are the perfect setting for meetings, formal dinners and canapé parties. Offering a private bar, terrace and garden, as well as space for up to 60 to dine or 100 to mingle, The Pembroke Rooms are ideal for celebrating many occasions from christenings through to weddings! We never charge to hire out the rooms but would ask that you meet a minimum spend across the course of your day.
In addition to our range of bespoke menus, we can also offer buffet, BBQ, canapé and afternoon tea menus to suit every occasion!

The newest addition to our suite of function spaces is The Scout Hut, an ideal venue for drinks and nibbles or to book on a regular basis for anything from meetings to yoga classes. The Scout Hut can also be used in conjunction with the Pembroke Rooms, and has direct access to our large pub garden.

Our converted stables with charcoal BBQ make for the perfect space to host a corporate BBQ or casual family celebration. This area also has direct access to our garden bar, and provides a really fun atmosphere to suit all occasions!

The Terrace

• The Terrace serves a range of hot drinks, quality coffee and cakes/snacks.
• Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
• Opening hours are 9.30am – 4.30pm Tuesday – Friday and 10am – 4.30pm Saturday – Sunday. Last orders 30 minutes before closing.

The Ballroom is the largest of our rooms, accommodating up to 180 delegates comfortably and has been refurbished to exceptionally high standards. It benefits from its own entrance directly from the car park. It also has a lounge area with a bar and toilet facilities including disabled.

The Nelson room is a traditional panelled boardroom which holds up to 30 delegates. It is located on the first floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the market place. This room is situated in the historic part of the building and is a light and airy room. This room is not recommended for disabled guests.

Lynn bar is a beautiful room for a small-medium sized meeting space.The room is located at the front of the hotel and ideal for informal meetings, interviews and intimate dining experiences

The Lancaster Suite is the jewel in the crown of the hotel with its own private entrance, cloakroom, restrooms, stage, full lighting and PA system and bar, it is capable of accommodating over 400 guests for a dinner dance, and 600 delegates theatre style

The Halifax is ideal for meetings for up to 150 delegates. With an adjacent conservatory ideal for refreshment breaks. The Suite can be partitioned into 2 smaller Suites. The Halifax is also ideal for dinner dances with its own bar and dance floor.

The Board meeting is a private secluded meeting room on the second floor of the hotel (accessible by lift), perfect for small board meetings or theatre style meetings of up to 40 delegates.
