The Astor Wing, sympathetically built onto the castle by William Waldorf Astor in 1904, the Astor Wing boasts an impressive Tudor style meeting space, newly refurbished with state of the art audio visual facilities, suitable for up to 60 delegates. Dine in the castle in the evening and stay overnight in one of the 26 luxury, 5 star bedrooms.

The Guthrie Pavilion, located in the award-winning Italian Garden, this versatile, contemporary space accommodates up to 200 delegates. Offering the flexibility of being used for either a conference or a dinner, the Guthrie Pavilion is popular with clients requiring somewhere to meet in a peaceful location with space to spread out and brainstorm.

The Hythe Suite room is a large bright, airy event suite with plenty of natural daylight overlooking a pretty courtyard. The suite holds up to 180 delegates in a theatre-style and up to 120 delegates for a dinner dance event.

The room also benefits from a partition wall to split into two rooms.

The room is located on the left-hand side of the hotel lobby adjacent to the entrance. It benefits from plenty of natural daylight, looking out onto the pretty patio area.

Double doors open into the restaurant, providing an annexe for private receptions. The Stratford Suite can hold up to a maximum of 50 delegates, making it ideal for small and medium-sized meetings or it can be utilised as a separate breakout area.

The Chatham Suite is ideal for board meetings and smaller events, holding up to 18 delegates in a boardroom style.

The Chatham is conveniently located near to the Hogarth Suite, aiding as a breakout area for this larger meeting space.

The Scotney is situated on the ground floor with natural day light and air conditioning. It is equipped with whiteboard, flipchart and screen. The tables are set with bottled water and sweets. The room has window blinds.

The Penshurst is situated in the ground floor, outside of the main Academy, with the benefit of large screen TV, natural day light and air conditioning. It has full disabled access, and is positioned just off the Hotel main lounge. 

The Hever is situated on the first floor with natural daylight and air conditioning. It can accommodate up to 30 in theatre style and 21 in cabaret style. The room has a whiteboard, screen and flipchart. It is equipped with a large-screen TV and HDMI connectivity, ideal for presentations.

The Leeds is situated on the first floor with natural day light and air conditioning. The tables are set with bottled water and sweets. The room has window blinds. The room can be split into two syndicates. It is equipped with a large-screen TV and HDMI connectivity, ideal for presentations, as well as whiteboard and flipchart.

The Arundel-Scotney is two rooms which convert into one large room, to offer a light and airy meeting space. Benefitting from natural day light and air conditioning. It is situated on the ground floor, with accessible access. Ideal for both meetings, exhibitions and functions.

The De Havilland Suite is the hotel’s largest and most versatile event space. The ground-floor suite benefits from natural daylight and air conditioning, creating a bright and comfortable environment. Accommodating up to 350 delegates theatre-style or 250 for a banquet, it can be divided into smaller sections for breakout sessions or more intimate gatherings. Additional features include a private bar within the suite and convenient access to cloakroom and restroom facilities.

Located on the second floor of the hotel, The Training Room benefits from natural daylight and views of the world-famous Brands Hatch circuit. The space can be hired as a full suite or divided into three smaller sections, making it ideal for boardroom meetings of up to 12 guests or as versatile breakout rooms for larger events.

The Falcon Room is a flexible, air-conditioned meeting space ideal for smaller gatherings, workshops, and board-level discussions. It comfortably accommodates up to 30 delegates theatre-style or around 18 in a boardroom setup, making it well-suited for focused team meetings, training sessions, or breakout groups. The room can also host receptions of around 40 guests and banquets for intimate events. 

Screen capacities vary from 82 seats to 261 seats.  Fully customiseable recliner seats are available in all screens

The Gallery Bar is a luxury and contemporary area, prefect for entertaining clients or colleagues.

The Lounge Bar offers a great space to host an intimate and personal experience for clients to entertain their guests or to use a breakout space during a conference or meeting.

Darwin Conference Suite is our all year round flexible conference venue, situated in Darwin College.

An adaptable space for a maximum of 300 people. It can be used as one large room or divided, with soundproofed walls, into three smaller rooms with a capacity of 40 to 100 people. The space has its own reception area, cloakroom, dance floor, and bar.

The flexibility of this space, allows for a wide range of meeting and event needs to be met.  Boardroom or theatre style for those important business meetings or talks or banqueting style for dinner dances.

The Grimond Building is a self-contained meeting and conference venue, located at the heart of the campus.  It comprises a range of three lecture theatres and eight seminar rooms.

Grimond has a large foyer area that is ideal for registration, catering, exhibition space, and for holding drinks receptions.

Built in 2021 the Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena offers a versatile, unrestricted space for a wide range of events, accommodating up to 4,000 people at the University of Kent Canterbury campus.

With over 3,000 sq meters of flexible flat floor space, the arena can be configured in a variety of layouts including conferences for over 2,000 delegates, trade exhibitions, banquets, functions, sporting events,  concerts and more. 

Our three sports halls are great for large-scale events. 

The adaptability of the sports halls means a variety of events can be held there, from sports events such as boxing or karate to banquet dinners, large exhibitions and conferences. 

Keynes College is an all-in-one venue for residential conferences.  

Keynes has a wide range of meeting rooms available, including 5 large lecture theatres (capacity 60-330) and over 20 breakout rooms (capacity 10-52). Alongside the meeting rooms are two foyer areas ideal for delegate registration, working lunches, exhibitions and drinks receptions. 

Keynes is the perfect venue for residential conferences as we have 600 en-suite single and double bedrooms located next to the conference rooms, a catering outlet and bar.

Opened in 2020, the Pears Building is based on the Canterbury Campus and is part of the Kent and Medway Medical School. 

The state-of-the-art building has one large lecture theatre for 150 people, multiple multi-use seminar rooms and a bright airy foyer area.

Built in 2017, this state-of-the-art building will give you the chance to impress, with three large lecture theatres, six meeting rooms and a contemporary ground floor event space.

Follow the pathways through the trees to discover our innovative high-quality conference venue, winner of the 2018 South East Building of the Year by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Providing 2,350m squared of high-quality conference and event space there's room here for nearly every type of event with plenty of wow factor.

The Templeman Library features a 250 seat lecture theatre, 8 seminar rooms and a large bright foyer area. 

Following a major extension and refurbishment of the Templeman Library in 2017,  it created a vibrant contemporary building at the heart of the campus.  

Woolf College is the perfect venue for large conferences and events as it houses our largest 480-seater lecture theatre.

In addition, there are six seminar rooms, a reception and a large foyer area ideal for delegate registration,  working lunches, exhibitions and drinks receptions.

Leading outside from the entrance is a small and quiet courtyard with seating and tables, a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy lunch.

The Gulbenkian Arts Centre can cater for a variety of events with it's 340 seat theatre, 300 seat cinema and a café bar. 

The venue is multi-purpose and can be used for a range of events, including performances, workshops, conferences, screenings, rehearsals and filming.

Built in 2012 the Colyer Fergusson Music Building is a unique and charming venue for musical performances or conferences and events. The building consists of one large auditorium, meeting rooms and a foyer area. 

With adjustable and retractable seating the main hall can accommodate intimate musical events and large-scale musical, academic and conference events. When functioning at full capacity the hall can accommodate seating 400 people.  

Catering for events of up to 200 people in theatre style or 120 in a dinner dance the Invicta Suite can be transformed to any event requirement. Situated on the ground floor with natural daylight.

This space also comes with its own private bar and lounge area

At the very top of this four storey building lies a rather special room. A private room we’ve called The Franklin Room. 

This space is located on the second floor and has its own bar, which you can have staffed for your event. This room can hold up to 32 guests seated or 60 standing. This space has disabled access via a lift.

To hire The Franklin there is no hire cost, we just ask that you meet a minimum spend. This is available upon enquiry.

Our Spitfire meeting room is fully equipped, and the price includes a large whiteboard, a large TV screen with the latest Logitech Swytch video conference equipment, flipcharts, and high-speed, secure Wi-Fi and internet.

All bookings include a round of tea and coffee with biscuits for the attendees, along with complimentary filtered chilled water. Full-day bookings include two rounds of tea and coffee with biscuits.

The Fitted Rigging House comprises of two adjacent meeting rooms, which can be hired individually or together if a breakout space is required. Kitted out with the latest technology, you can present easily with our moveable screens and even connect with those joining your meeting virtually using our video conferencing kit.

The Royal Dockyard Church is a purpose built theatre space, seating up to 200 guests in tiered seating. Including a stage and presentation equipment, it’s an ideal venue to accommodate your next big staff training day, lecture, theatre performance or to host a multi-day conference.

The expansive No.1 Smithery was begun in 1801 to help meet the Dockyard’s growing need for ironwork. After a major redevelopment, the building now offers modern museum galleries, temporary exhibition galleries and flexible event spaces.

The Courtyard provides an industrial large space, ideal for product launches, demonstrations and presentations.
