Gloucestershire is perhaps best known for its cathedral city - Gloucester - and for the picturesque Cotswolds, the spa town of Cheltenham, medieval Tewkesbury, and the beautiful countryside that features beauty spots like the Forest of Dean and Severn Vale. It’s an easy destination to get to for all types of corporate events, via the M5, M4, and M40, train, and domestic flights into Birmingham and Bristol airports. The Thistle Cheltenham Hotel (capacity 300) and the Holiday Inn Gloucester (capacity 140) are both excellent conference venues that offer a range of flexible meeting rooms. Alternatively if you’re looking for stunning party venues, and impressive function rooms, Thornbury Castle near Bristol is sure to please. They have two dining rooms available for private hire, as well as the 16th century Tudor Hall, which can accommodate up to 50 guests. The Hall’s two adjoining rooms can be utilised to send additional space, giving you a separate private bar, or even a casino room.
