Our spacious Crystal Ballroom is equipped with it's own private bar and is ideal for big conferences, weddings, team buildings and private parties. 

The warm sunny traditionally decorated room ideal form reception drinks to small and intimate wedding ceremonies, with grand doors opening out onto a pretty patio over looking the bridge and countryside in the distance.

The Banqueting Hall holds our large wedding breakfasts / buffets and evening receptions, with two sets of double doors leading out onto a patio and private garden area. Perfect for lavish evening celebrations with ample space for stages, dance floors and other installations.

The perfect room for those guests that may need some respite from the evenings festivities. The Parlour can be used as an overflow guest room and for smaller weddings, a buffet can also be served in this room.

A warm and inviting room with the traditional décor of a men’s club, this room is a firm favourite for wedding parties to retire at the end of an evening for a night cap.

The Reading Room Bar is a warm and intimate bar set in the heart of the house, it's generally used for pre and post-ceremony drinks and is closed when the meal starts.

One of our favourite rooms overlooking our gorgeous front garden, with views of our deer roaming the park. This room can be used for ceremonies, reception drinks and wedding receptions, a beautiful blank canvas to be transformed to suit your special day.

A traditional decorated, large but intimate room is perfect for reception drinks on cold evenings. And a firm favourite for wedding parties to retire at the end of the evening celebrations for a night cap in front of the cosy fire.

The Changing Rooms comprise of three rooms, a chill out room for all your wedding party to relax in, a dressing area big enough for your party to dress in. And finally, a Salon area, complete with hair and make up stations, including our Hollywood Mirrors! All with plenty of room to prepare for your special day.

The Newman Suite comprising of two rooms, a comfy sitting room and a dressing room, decorated in a classic English club style, with leather arm chairs, vintage finishings with a modern twist and Ralf Lauren fabrics and wallpaper. A great suite to get ready and relax.

The Braxted Park Pavilion, set in the beautifully restored Walled Garden, is the ideal venue for any corporate party or event. The Pavilion can hold between 50 and 350 people and the flexible space makes it suitable for any size party, whether a fully seated corporate function, awards ceremony or cocktail party.

This stunning venue comes with a full working bar and dedicated experienced front of house staff, while audio visual equipment, stage, dancefloor and flexible catering options are also available.

Every occasion is unique but Braxted Park ensures that each event leaves a consistently perfect impression.

The Orangery is a stunning room set inside the main Braxted Park house. The double aspect room overlooks the gardens and grounds of the estate, and can be used in conjunction with the adjoining Lantern Room or nearby Dining Room.

Popular for hosting civil wedding ceremonies, the Orangery can seat up to 150 theatre style or 60 people cabaret/dinner dance style and has full access to WiFi and audio visual equipment

The main function room within the Braxted Park House, the Ball Room is an elegant space that can be tailored to your event, whether it's a conference or a formal evening drinks event.

The light and very bright Ball Room can seat 80 people in a theatre style layout, suitable for conferences, and can comfortably hold up to 120 people a dinner dance, or 150 people for a drinks event.

Looking out across the Estate, the Dining Room is a really versatile part of the Braxted Park House. Beautiful oak panels line the walls hung with ancestral paintings creating an impressive but welcoming backdrop for board-meetings, gala dinners and client hospitality.

This room is ideal for that smaller occasion, or indeed to compliment activities within the Ball Room, Reception Hall and Orangery. It can also be incorporated into team building activities in the Cookery School at Braxted Park or used for private dining experiences.

The Estate is set within 500 acres of parkland and offers various locations for all types of events such as activity days, product launches and team building days. Stunning views across the lake into Essex countryside makes Braxted Park the perfect setting for filming and photography, while the house makes the ideal backdrop for any outside event.

There is a 9 hole golf course located within the grounds of the Estate which can also be incorporated as part of an event.

The Cottage is located within the grounds of the Estate and is an ideal setting for a boardroom away day or a monthly meeting retreat.

With room for up to 12 delegates, the boardroom inside the cottage is fully equipped with all the necessary technology to host presentations and meetings including WiFi broadband internet access and also conference call facilities.

The Cottage has its own toilet and kitchen facilities ensuring privacy and professionalism for your meeting.

A stunning, woodland setting for daytime drinks, nightime fine dining or evening celebrations nestled within the Braxted Park estate surrounded by nature and with views of the magnificent lake. Sipping a bespoke cocktail after a fantastic outdoor dining experience and watching the sun go down over the lake is a truly exquisite experience.

You can even round the night off with toasted marshmallows over a firepit should you wish and accommodation is available if you really want to make a night of it. It will be suitable for intimate family and friend gatherings or corporate events until guest number restrictions are eased at which point it will be perfect for events and gatherings of all sizes!

The largest and most flexible space at Hylands Estate is the modern Grand Pavilion. It provides the perfect setting for a large variety of events and functions.

Complete with sparking chandeliers and ivory drapes, The Grand Pavilion offers a contemporary celebration space, perfect for you to decorate in your own unique way. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to wash over the room whilst guests enjoy private views of the courtyard garden with steps leading to the Pleasure Gardens and landscaped parkland beyond.

As a business venue this impressive space is perfect to host seminars, meetings, large shows and exhibitions. It was completed in 2014 with a stunning bar, PA sound system and atmospheric mood lighting.

Hanbury Suite

Situated on the first floor at the front of the building is The Hanbury Suite with it’s own private refreshment area. Set out as a boardroom this space is ideal for smaller meetings for up to 10 people where you would like your own private, undisturbed space.

The Drawing Room has a fabulously ornate and gilded ceiling, which is complemented by the gorgeous hand-painted wall motifs and stunning marble fireplace.

Library
The room is opulently decorated with 24 carat gold leaf swag and scroll decorations with the original Italian marble fireplace completing the luxurious stately look.

Our Essex Room is located on the first floor and is accessible via stairs only. A marvelous room with enough space to fit up to 50 people. This room is ideal for medium size conferences, team buildings and private celebrations. 

The Suffolk room is ideal for small size meetings and for those seeking a private dining area.

The Priory Room, situated on the grounds floor close to reception. This room offers natural day light, air-conditioning and has a private bar. Ideal for meetings, exhibitions and private dinners.

The Helena room is situated on the ground floor with plenty of natural daylight and air conditioning. Suitable for meetings and adjacent to syndicate rooms if break out rooms required.

The Castle is perfect meetings & presentations, and is accessible from the hotel lounge. The Castle rooms is ideal for small & intimate wedding receptions, private dining or birthday parties and you can access the hotel lawn from the room.

Is ideal as breakout room, and for interviews or small boardroom meetings. Located on ground floor with natural daylight located next to Gilberd rooms and adjacent to Priory & Helena room. This room is also has direct access from Castle room.
