The A.P Bar at Exeter Racecourse can accommodate a range of groups for meetings, receptions or presentations.

The perfect space to be used as a post event bar or additional cafe catering facility. Your event coordinator will work with you to ensure we use the best space possible for your needs.

The A.P Bar can be found on the ground floor of the Haldon Stand.

Located on the ground floor of the Haldon stand, the Best Mate is fully equipped with a PA system, 4 x microphones, 2 x plasma screens, the room also has natural daylight an outside patio area, air conditioning and a hearing loop.

Best Mate is ideal for any event, including:

The Denman is the premier room at the Racecourse, it can accommodate up to 150 cabaret style and 300 theatre style, the room also has 2 x projectors, 2 x screens, 7 x plasma screens and a PA system with 5 x microphones, the room also has an outdoor patio area, air conditioning and hearing loop.

Found on the second floor of the Haldon stand, the Desert Orchid is a wonderful two-tiered space, overlooking the racecourse.

The panoramic views from Desert Orchid are ideal to give a unique setting for larger conferences or exhibitions.

Found on the second floor of the Brockman Stand, the room is suitable to 10-60 guests with fantastic views overlooking the course.

The Golden Jubilee is located on the 2nd floor of the Brockman stand and is great for meetings for 10-60 delegates, the room has a view of the racecourse, and has a separate area for catering.

The Haldon room is located on the first floor of the Haldon stand and is the largest of the 5 River Rooms. The room has a balcony and air-conditioning and is also has 2 x plasma TV’s on the wait for presentations. The Haldon Room is an ideal venue room for:

The River Rooms are situated on the first floor of our Haldon Stand and consist of 4 flexible individual rooms the Tavy, Kenn, Exe & Dart rooms.

The River Rooms are used as break out rooms or for smaller meetings. The rooms have a balcony giving a view of the racecourse and can also be opened up to create a larger conference space if required. Air conditioning and plasma TV’s are also provided for presentations.

These can be changed to create larger breakout spaces or one large room. The rooms have air conditioning and natural daylight, plus a balcony with seating area.

Individually, they can seat up to 30 people in theatre style and 25 people in cabaret. Together, they can seat up to 150 people in theatre style and 96 people in cabaret.

The Sabin Du Loir is located on the first floor of the Brockman stand, the room has natural daylight, a data projector, screen and a PA system with 4 x microphones, repeater plasma screen 1 x screen.

The crown jewel within the Sandy Park complex, the spacious and light-filled Exeter Suite - which boasts two private bars - is the largest on site and boasts the latest in audio-visual technology including: four high-definition data projectors with 4.4m wide screens, two additional projector screens, five large plasma screens and an internal PA system, with a selection of microphones on offer to suit different requirements.

Not only ideal for conferencing and meeting space, the fully air-conditioned Exeter Suite has hosted awards shows, business exhibitions, charity gala events, as well as events put on by Sandy Park itself, including Comedy Nights, Ministry of Sound and in-house sporting events.

The suite also has a high definition camera, allowing speakers or other activities to be displayed across the screens both in the Exeter Suite and throughout the building. Delegates and organisers can enjoy wireless streaming of videos and presentations from their devices to the screens via the Apple TV system installed.

Each of these rooms can comfortably seat up to 390 guests. This convenient feature lends itself very well to meetings or events that require either a separate breakout space, networking zone, exhibition area or catering space.

The County Suite is conveniently situated adjacent from the Exeter Suite, offering an ideal room to provide either a reception, break-out space, exhibition zone or catering area for any event taking place in the much-larger Exeter Suite.

With its large ceilings and state-of-the-art technology, the Suite also provides the perfect setting for smaller conferencing and meetings needs. Not only is it air-conditioned, spacious and with disabled access, but its unique lay-out means it remains a popular setting for clients, both new and returning, who are keen to make full use of its capacity.

The County Suite, situated on the first floor, also offers a large private bar along with a Panasonic SOLID SHINE HD Laser projector with 4m x 2.25m screen, 4 Plasma screens (2 x 75", 1 x 60", 1 x 42"), Apple TV, vMix and WiFi.

The Chiefs Suite is situated adjacent from the Estuary Suite and is therefore an excellent room to either provide a reception, registration or breakout area for any event taking place in the larger Estuary Suite.

The Suite's serene interior offers a warm and easy-going ambiance, which makes it the ideal event space to fit with the colours and theming for any dinner, party or wedding. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the pristine Exeter Chiefs pitch towards East Devon and the Exe Estuary.

Capable of comfortably seating a maximum of 220 guests, the Chiefs Suite has its own private bar as well as seven seminar suites in close proximity, making it an ideal location for any potential breakout areas.

The space is fitted with a Panasonic SOLID SHINE HD Laser Projector with 4m wide screen plus three plasma screens.

The Chiefs Suite has full disabled access and is also fully air-conditioned.

The Estuary Suite is our second largest room and is the perfect setting for any event from a business conference or private dinner.

Its open, spacious design and private bar provides a relaxing space for hosting guests at any meeting, conference or networking event.  The room offers exceptional views to the Sandy Park pitch, as well as across to the Exe Estuary. Additionally, an extremely practical feature is that it can be divided length-ways by one main moveable wall. This wall allows for a total of six seminar suites which can accommodate a maximum of 15 people in each - a fantastic space should you require several breakout or syndicate rooms.

The popular Baxter Suite - named in connection with the famous Exeter Rugby family - offers unrivalled views of our stadium grounds and across the scenic vista of the Exe Estuary and beyond.

Positioned on the second floor, the Baxter Suite has a maximum capacity of 60 and is ideal for a wide range of conference or meeting requirements.

There is a PA system with microphones installed, plus an 80” plasma screen. Apple TV is also available in this suite, enabling a wireless link from devices to the screen. In addition, the private bar situated within the room lends itself very well to a private dining or VIP drinks event.

All of our Seminar Suites are situated on the second floor with disabled access. They are filled with natural daylight and overlook the rugby stadium grounds and across the East Devon countryside towards the Exe Estuary.

Adorned with memorabilia from the rise of Exeter Rugby Club in recent years, this room provides a tasteful and evocative space, perfect for those wishing to stage a smaller, more intimate event.

In addition to the striking boardroom table, which acts as the ideal centrepiece, this room has the latest in video conferencing technology and an 82” plasma screen.

Available for up to 24 delegates or guests.

The suite is available to hire on an hourly basis, in addition to half-day and full-day rates.
