Incredibly versatile Cross Fell is our main function suite may be used meetings, conferences, team building, dinners, receptions and more. The space can be split across the middle to create two separate rooms offering both meeting space for 100 theatre style and private dining for 60. A small enclosed courtyard with seating and decking offers direct access to the hotel grounds. There is a bar inside and one of our business lounges a few steps away. There is a lift offering disabled access

Our versatile Little Martindale space set up as meeting room. The perfect intimate setting for private dining, located just off the top tier beside our restaurant and conservatory. This space can also be set as a lounge for casual conversation. Direct access to one of our Business Lounges and exit to our hotel grounds with quirky seating areas. Can be used for all natures of conference, meetings and events.

Our largest space can accommodate up to 250 guests, with its own private entrance and large balcony overlooking our landscaped gardens and towards Kendal Castle, it’s a great venue for any occasion.

Our Kendal Suite is situated to the right as you enter the main hotel entrance & has its own private foyer area, which is ideal to use as a syndicate room & refreshment breaks. This room also has its own terrace overlooking Kendal. Air conditioning & lots of natural daylight

Situated on the 1st Floor of our Grandstand, our restaurant space is suitable for up to 150 people and hosts views of the racecourse, a private balcony and bar area for any event.

Our largest room, the Patterson Suite, is situated on the first floor and has capacity for up to 600 delegates. It can be split for more intimate occasions and features a spacious bar area and stunning views of the course.

Located on the ground floor of the Main Grandstand, the Bell Hall provides up to 550 delegates with easy access and a full range of buffet options.

Located within their own building, the six Lawn Suites are available on their own or in any combination providing up to 120 guests with breathtaking close up views of the course.

Choose a single box or combine several to create a luxurious space for 30 to 135 delegates. Executive boxes on the 2nd floor provide stunning views of the course from a private balcony.

The Blencathra Suite is accessed via stairs and works for a number of different setups. Direct access to one of our business lounges as well as our large hotel grounds and BBQ and al fresco dining area with fire pit offering additional breakout space. Fully air conditioned this meeting space is bright and airy and has large plasma TV and sound system. There are no pillars in this room. Predominantly booked as a meeting space can be used as breakout rooms or cleared for activities for away days and events.

The Hellvelyn Suite is accessed via stairs and works for a number of different setups. Direct access to one of our business lounges as well as our large hotel grounds and BBQ and al fresco dining area with fire pit offering additional breakout space. Fully air conditioned this meeting space is bright and airy and has large plasma TV and sound system. There are no pillars in this room. Predominantly booked as a meeting space can be used as breakout rooms or cleared for activities for away days and events.

The Hartside can seat up to 12-15 people, depending on the layout of the room. This is the largest of the syndicate suites, perfect for large conference calls, workshops or training activities. Standard set up as 12 boardroom. Please enquire within for more details. Predominantly booked for meetings and used as breakout spaces for larger conferences and training/away days.

The hotel has 6 smaller meeting spaces all for up to 10 people boardroom style offering natural daylight and on the ground floor of the hotel allowing disabled access. All are situated next to each other and just down the corridor from the business lounge and our main function room the Cross Fell. Predominantly booked for meetings and used as breakout spaces for larger conferences and training/away days.

This room is situated in the Business & Training Centre & overlooks our beautiful gardens, there is also access directly from this room into the gardens. Air-conditioning & lots of natural daylight.

Capable of holding up to 30 guests, The Blue Room is a unique and flexible space boasting floor to ceiling windows with views across the lake. With an open fire and traditional boardroom table - this function room is ideal for a wide range of events.

The Library at Leeming House is ideal for boardroom meetings or small training sessions.

This delightfully refined space is capable of holding an intimate group of up to 20 people, boasting comfortable arm chairs and the many books laden across our library shelves.

The Regency Room is a classic space, capable of hosting up to 80 delegates during your business meeting or conference.

Featuring an LCD overhead screen, this space is perfect for large presentations and theatre-type demonstrations. The Regency Room at Leeming House also offers guests inspiring views across the lawns, right down to the lake

The hub space is extremely flexible and can be set up for a range of different uses and user-groups. Here are some of the possible configurations:
