Our purpose-built conference venue was open in late 2017 and it is the newest addition to Newbury Racecourse unique collection of event spaces. Our Newbury outdoor events spaces are one of the best features at Newbury Racecourse, We pride Ourselves on, offering truly versatile outdoor events to suit a diverse array of activities.

With over 225 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, our Newbury outdoor events spaces can accommodate many spectacular exhibitions, festivals, car shows, exciting sporting contests and many other outdoor event functions. At our Outdoor events Newbury we have the use of the whole centre of the course for glamping or hosting a concert for up to 24,000 people, the racecourse has the operational expertise to achieve any goal set by the client.

Due to our expansive Newbury outdoor events spaces our site has been proud to be apart of filming opportunities for movies, commercials, and educational programs. With options to hire exclusive outdoor spaces for extended periods of time, filming is a popular sector due to the flexibility of the outdoor events, including our unique woodland area and expertise of our operations team.

This area is a blank canvas for any event but ideal for exhibitions or large conferences with a capacity of up to 1000 delegates (theatre style) and possibility to display vehicles. On many occasions, the ground floor has been used to host indoor team building activities, coupled with a conference seating area on the second floor as well as product launches. 

Whether you have an event on the ground or second floor, enjoy the relaxed environment and structural individuality of the first floor for break out space, exhibitions or catering.

The first floor benefits from a unique surrounding no other venue can compare with. The structural features illuminate the space with the buildings pillars dividing the room into sections perfect for separate break out areas or team building spaces. This room has access to the outdoor stepping’s onto the track side and windows surrounding the room giving an enhanced view of the racecourse itself.

The second floor offers over 780m2 of pillar free conference, dining or exhibition space for up to 550 delegates.

 It has full grey-out blinds, 3 phase power across the room and allows access to five balconies to enjoy the superb views over the racecourse and Berkshire countryside.

This large space allows multi use and flexible set ups due to it’s length and width. Two tiers dropping down to the restricted glass wall offer dynamic space for exhibiting also allowing delegates to stretch their legs and enjoy the sensational view. 

This space is perfect for team building, dining, conferences and VIP events.

The ground floor of the Berkshire Stand can be used as a venue for small exhibitions, product launches and large networking events with catering options. With almost 510m sq of event space, this room can be transformed to fit your event requirements.

The first floor features the Paddock View and Long Room used for dining, refreshment breaks or smaller exhibitions. With picturesque views over the racecourse or parade ring and towering ceiling height, these dynamic spaces can be used in tandem to create a delightful impression to any event.

This space is perfect for small exhibitions, networking, team building and break out area’s.

Newly refurbished in 2019, both The Fred Winter and Mandarin Suites are located on the second floor of the Berkshire Stand and offer space for up to 100 delegates (theatre style) in a high end setting.

The Fred Winter will seat up to 80 while it’s Sister The Mandarin is often used as a smaller break out room or as the catering area, seating up to 40.

This space is perfect for dinners, conferences, meetings and receptions.
