With 22 luxurious bedrooms suites, the Library bar offering a range of excellent beverages, our relaxed Mongolia lounge with huge sofas by open fires, charming English manicured country gardens and ambient private dining facilities for you and your guests to unwind in total comfort and privacy.

In the Terrace restaurant with floor-to-ceiling picture windows open onto a timeless English country garden, where blousy tea roses and scrambling honeysuckle scent the air with heady fragrance, and tiny birds flit between leafy branches. 

If you are looking for delicious home made food and fine local ale, then Monty's Inn  offers delicious heritage cooking and classic English favourites, including homemade scotch eggs, game pies and British cheese ploughman’s. Food served at both onsite restaurants are selected from our very own kitchen garden kept by our dedicated gardener who selects ingredients reflective of the seasons.

Just a short walk from Beaulieu Motor Museum (perfect for the classic car enthusiasts), The Montagu Arms Hotel is available for private hire for an exclusive use wedding or private house party whether for personal or business use. Enjoy and relax in total privacy and share your unforgettable moments with those you value.

Our Wedding Coordinator, Clara Earp, believes that understanding the Bride and Groom’s ‘vision’, the logistics and timing of the day itself and being flexible to every couple and their guests’ needs are the most important aspects of wedding planning, not to mention a love of her role, expert knowledge and attention to detail. 

The style of the venue and the high level of service each guest receives lends the historic building with period features including parquet flooring, open fire places and oak panelling perfectly to board meetings, executive retreats, client entertainment and dinner parties.

The New Forest location makes The Montagu Arms perfect for team building events and incentive days such as sailing regattas and classic car rally's providing an unforgettable experience to anyone who attends.

Oakwood Room

Situated on the ground floor overlooking the private landscaped gardens, the Oakwood Room is an attractive wood panelled meeting room with an open fireplace. Raised flooring at the end of the room provides an ideal area for presentations. The room also benefits from natural daylight and garden views as well as allowing direct access to the book lined Library Bar and decked area of the garden with an ancient and magnificent Magnolia Tree providing a shady bower. The Oakwood Room also the ideal setting for a private dinner for up to 32 guests.

Paris Room

The Terrace, situated on the ground floor, offers an attractive and spacious meeting room with wood panelling. The Terrace boasts French doors which open on to the garden area and offers plenty of natural daylight presenting the ideal setting for conferences for up to 60 delegates and for a private dinner for up to 90.
