This wonderful historic house lends itself perfectly to seminars, conferences, meetings, receptions, dinners and product launches, to name but a few. Experience of holding such events tells us that it also creates a lasting impression on your clients and suppliers and makes memorable occasions for your staff. Our events team are highly experienced at creating bespoke events for any size of organisation - there are very few restrictions and we can make it as creative as you like!

In the Grounds

The surrounding countryside and woodland can be used for outdoor pursuits and off-road driving, while our large outdoor events site is the perfect location for a company day. The grounds of Kelmarsh Hall provide opportunities for multi-activity packages, fairs, driver days, It's a Knockout, archery, clay pigeon shooting, quad bike trails and much more.

Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens offers the ideal setting for any event whether you are looking to hold small regular meetings or large scale events.

Ideally located Kelmarsh Hall is only a few minutes’ drive from the M1, M6 and A14 offering excellent transport links by road, rail and air.

Kelmarsh Hall is a Grade 1 listed building surrounded by beautiful gardens, acres of parkland, and the historic setting provides the perfect backdrop for any event.

Offering a variety of event space from small meetings in our beautiful Orangery, Exclusive use of Kelmarsh Hall or large scale events and festivals for up to 20,000 people on our event site, Kelmarsh Hall can cater for all your event requirements.

If you are looking to hold team building or outdoor events then look no further as we have all the space you could ever want, 160 acres to be precise, with no real restrictions on the type of activity you can do.
The Saloon
Max Capacity 100

The Saloon, resplendent with chandeliers, polished oak floorboards and stunning views across the ornamental lake, can accommodate up to 100 guests for your wedding ceremony. It is home to a baby grand piano which can be played during your ceremony, and there is the option of having other live music such as a harp or string quartet. Decorated in the colour once described as the ‘Soul of Blue’, and detailed with fine 18th-century plasterwork makes for the perfect room for your ceremony or evening reception.

The saloon has unparalleled views across our ornamental lake, rolling into open countryside. The saloon can cater for up to 100 people for a civil ceremony and up to 70 people for dinner.

The Ballroom
Max Capacity 170

The stylish setting of Kelmarsh hall lends itself perfectly to a wedding reception. Our Ballroom can host up to 100 for a wedding breakfast, and up to 170 guests can celebrate with you for an evening reception, dancing in the Ballroom to a band or DJ.

The Ballroom at Kelmarsh is a magnificent entertainment room, with a gorgeous chandelier, wonderful paintings and peer glass mirrors creating a warm, country house mood. The view of the Ballroom is of the beautiful Kelmarsh parkland, which adds to the special exclusive feel of the venue.

Couples can make full use of the romantic gardens for a drink reception and photography and there is also the opportunity to have live music outside, with vistas across the Northamptonshire countryside.

The Great Hall

The Great Hall is the centre-piece of the house with elegant 18th-century plasterwork and Italian-pink walls. The Great Hall gives a welcoming atmosphere for guests, as the perfect reception area for greeting your guests.

A champagne reception in the Great Hall is the epitome of sophisticated English country living and for the perfect winter wedding, the roaring fire in the Great Hall ensures a comfortable cocoon.

The Orangery
Max Capacity 40

With the sky-lighting and rows of French windows, the Orangery is perfect for your intimate wedding. The Orangery has stunning views across the parkland to St.Denys Church, and has direct access into the historic gardens at Kelmarsh for guests and for photographs - the perfect way to impress your guests!

The Orangery is licensed for civil ceremonies, ideal for up to 40 guests. There is also a site to the rear of the Orangery perfect for a a teepee, for extending the outdoor evening reception for guests. The Orangery can be used for your civil ceremony, or wedding breakfast, unfortunately we are not able to offer both of these in the Orangery at one time.

If you would like an evening reception alongside your booking of the Orangery we are able to offer the Hall, or look at Teepee and Marquee options with you.

Marquee Weddings
Max Capacity 500

For larger wedding celebrations, couples can make use of the marquee site on the south Lawn, positioned close to the hall, with vistas of the countryside without obscuring views of the historic house. As the light fades, your guests can dance the night away with floodlit views of the Hall as a backdrop.

Bespoke marquees are supplied by T&L Marquee Hire, our preferred supplier, who are experienced with working with our site dimensions. We can accommodate up to 500 quests in our marquee site. Please note:- an additional cost for the marquee will apply.
