Oxford Town Hall

Oxford Town Hall is a beautiful Grade II* Victorian building located at the heart of the historic city of Oxford. The Town Hall has undergone many changes in its 700 year history, this being the third building on the site. The present building you see today was elaborately designed in 1893 by Sir Henry T Hare and is now a fi ne multi-functional venue within the county of Oxfordshire. As well as a place for entertainment, corporate business or community events, the Town Hall has become a popular venue for weddings and has been licensed for civil ceremonies for a number of years. Both your civil marriage or partnership ceremony and reception can be accommodated in one of our magnifi cent wood panelled rooms suitable for small and large events, and, since we know how important the day is to you, you are assured of our complete and immediate attention to all your needs.
