The Theatrical Management Association (TMA) held its annual networking lunch and AGM at one of London’s unique venues, LSO St Luke’s.
The event, which took place on May 23 and was sponsored by The Stage, was attended by more than 300 members, colleagues and guests of the TMA – the UK’s largest and longest established theatre trade association. It was a historical moment for the Association, which voted for a majority female council for the first time in its 199 year history.
Catering for the event was provided by Moving Venue, LSO St Luke’s most popular external supplier.
Speaking about the Association’s reasons for choosing LSO St Luke’s, TMA’s Marketing and Membership Manager, Gemma Nelson, commented “We were looking for a large enough, atmospheric and convenient place to accommodate up to 300 people that would easily allow room to have lunch, network and do business. On our first visit we were really impressed and thought LSO St Luke’s would suit our members – people working in theatre or performing arts related industries – perfectly. The team at LSO St Luke’s was extremely helpful and professional in accommodating our requirements for our AGM. Following the Annual Business and Networking Lunch, the feedback we received from our members about the venue and wonderful staff was incredibly positive.”
LSO St Luke’s is one of London’s most impressive and stylish venues. The 18th century, Grade I listed Hawksmoor church opened for events in 2003 and has a proven track record as a venue for award ceremonies, receptions, gala dinners and conferences. Its largest room, the Jerwood Hall, can accommodate up to 450 people.
