Following York flooding VisitYork4Meetings, the business tourism brand of Make It York, has announced today (Tuesday 5th January 2016) that following the recent flooding in York, all city event venues with the exception of three are fully open for business. The three attractions used for conferences and events which were affected and are currently closed are; The York Dungeon, JORVIK Viking Centre and Merchant Adventurers’ Hall. The city centre including York’s conference venues, hotels, attractions, shopping streets and restaurants, cafes and bars are open as usual.
Laura Freer, Business Tourism Manager at VisitYork4Meetings, said:
