Zebra Crossing Operative at Longleat Safari Park

Longleat Safari Park

Longleat Safari Park is seeking a zebra crossing operative to cope with high visitor numbers over the festive holidays.

The Wiltshire wildlife collection wants to recruit someone to assist the public across the road at the entrance to their African Reserve – home to wildebeest, ostriches, giraffe…and a herd of Grant’s zebra.

The zebra crossing will provide visitors with a manned crossing point from the car park into the East Africa Village which overlooks the Reserve.

Ironically our herd of zebra are actually extremely good at road crossing. They are used to motor vehicles travelling through their spacious enclosure and they’ve become model pedestrians,” said keeper Ryan Hockley. Continue reading
