In December, 195 Piccadilly were the proud receivers of the Top Event Space voted by Event Magazine readers. Over 150 of the industry's buyers, suppliers and venues descended on new members' bar, Molton House, for the exclusive unveiling of this year's top 20 event spaces. Among those to reach the top 20 were the O2, Madame Tussauds, Science Museum, London Aquarium, Earls Court and the London Dungeons.

Macdonald Hotels and Resorts in association with Confex Group will be researching the future of corporate procurement policies and the effect it will have on the events industry. The findings will be released during International Confex to ascertain what procurement teams throughout the UK and Europe will be looking for over the next five to 10 years.

| Confex 2009 announces keynote line-up |

Hamish McRae, Ruby Wax and Kelvin MacKenzie will be delivering the keynotes at this year's International Confex show from 24-26 February 2009 at Earls Court.
